Mindfulness, Imagery, and Creativity

In this workshop, yoga practice, mindfulness and imagery/visualization are offered to
inspire creativity and recognize and dissolve barriers through self-awareness. This
workshop is designed to access whatever moves you, free of inner and outer
critique. Participants are encouraged to choose expressions of their choice, which may
include artistic media, creative writing, journaling, music, dance, and more. Please bring
writing journals, sketchbooks and your favorite art or writing tools. Participants will have the
option of sitting at a table or on your yoga mat or blanket. Dress in comfortable clothing. All
are welcome. This will be fun!
Materials: Please bring sketchbook, writing journal, favorite writing or art tools and if desired a yoga
mat and blanket.

Every registrant will be expected to complete an electronic form included in their registration receipt acknowledging that they understand and agree to comply with the policies outlined. This form must be submitted no less than 48 hours prior to the start of the first class. If you have submitted this form for a prior registration, you do not need to submit another one.

D Zeutas-BroerD is an experienced and enthusiastic holistic health consultant, diversity trainer, and certified yoga teacher. She founded Pure Energy Yoga and Holistic Health Consulting over 20 years ago, to provide personal and small group sessions and classes to those seeking a more creative and balanced lifestyle. D is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and doctoral work in Human Services and Applied Behavioral Sciences including holistic therapies, the use of imagery in therapy, and social justice. She has specialized in enhancing mindfulness, and optimal stress response for athletes, clinicians, service providers, and trauma survivors of all ages. D is, also, a Level IV Reiki Master, a dancer, poet, and mixed media artist, who is inspired by cityscapes, nature and animals. She participated in improv workshops led by Academy Award winning actor, Alan Arkin, and thinks it’s all improv.
