This six-week, project-based class is designed for students who have had an introduction to the basics of watercolor and are looking to continue their practice.

All projects will be centered around illustrating food and drink recipes in a variety layouts. The class covers how to paint various ingredients and how to arrange them into strong compositions. Each project will include guidance for color matching, a step by step walkthrough for the portrait and highlight specific painting and linework techniques for this subject. All projects are designed to be traced in Micron Pen before painting to add contrast and technical detail to the portrait.

No drawing experience required.
