The wand chooses the wizard, unless the wizard forges the wand! In this fast paced 1-day workshop you'll learn how to forge, taper, scroll and twist an 8" round steel rod into a one of a kind magic wand. Incendio! You'll use our indoor gas forge to heat the steel and a hammer, anvil and vice to move the metal. This is an introductory skills workshop. Beginners are welcome!

    Artist Statement

I strive to make art which is functional, and which leaves people wondering how it was made. As a blacksmith, I integrate ancient and modern technologies to produce effective and beautiful tools and products.
I value making a tool to make a tool to make a part to a finished piece rather than buying an inferior part at the store.
