Discover the vibrant world of enameling in this 3-week workshop designed for all skill levels—from complete beginners to returning students looking to deepen their practice. You'll explore the art of fusing glass to metal using kiln-firing techniques, learning a variety of methods such as sifting, stenciling, layering, and using cloisonné or sgraffito (based on experience and interest).Each week, you'll build on your skills while creating beautiful, personalized pieces—ranging from jewelry and pendants to small decorative objects. Guidance and demonstrations will be tailored to your experience level, with opportunities to experiment and refine your style.

Basic materials are included. Students can buy materials from the studio as needed.Students should bring a KN-95 mask, painting brushes, craft tweezers, and manicure scissors.

Please wear natural fiber fabrics and closed-toe shoes.

Youth ages 14-17 may enroll in this course if they enroll with a parent or guardian. Parent/guardian must notify the registration office via email at wccregistration@worcester.edu

Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising. If you would prefer WCC to not use photos of yourself or your enrolled family member, please let us know by filling out the media release form located on our website, and submitting it to wccregistration@worcester.edu
