In ancient times, Tai Chi was practiced mostly as a martial art. Tai Chi was also an activity the entire family practiced together. Grandparents taught grandchildren, and so on. This practice can be practiced alone in solitude or as partner exercises. Either way, Tai Chi is a socially fun activity, which just happens also to improve overall health, happiness, and contentment in life. This can be a way to connect with your own family and share an experience. Learning together, growing together. All are welcome.

These classes involve full-body movement, including stepping in various directions, and will require participants to remain standing throughout the session. Unfortunately, accommodations for seated participation are not available. Please consider this if you anticipate needing to sit at any point during the class

WCC Media Release Policy

We may occasionally use photos of students in promotional materials. Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising. If you would prefer WCC to not use photos of yourself or your enrolled family member, please let us know by filling out the media release form located on our website, and submitting it to wccregistration@worcester.edu
