This essential workbench tool uses very frail but incredibly useful saw blades to cut out designs of nearly any shape, with the right amount of practice and patience. In this class, students can expect to learn useful tips and techniques for getting clean, accurate cuts without leaving a pile of broken blades. Topics covered include proper posture and body mechanics, cutting techniques, selection of blade size vs. material thickness, and more. By the end of the class, students will create a small project, such as a keychain, pendant, or ornament, to take home.
