You will use hand tools to create a spoon ring and a necklace. The hand tools include a
ring mandrel, metal vice, ball peen hammer, bolt cutter, and a jeweler’s saw. First, we will
flatten the spoon and cut off the handle. Then we will make a spoon ring with the handle and a
necklace from the flatten spoon bowl. I will supply a spoon for each student; however, you are
encouraged to bring your personal Spoons as well as a simple design to pierce.. All spoons need
to be either silver plate or sterling silver.

Students Should Bring:
Bring in a couple sterling or silver-plated spoons

Youth ages 14-17 may enroll in this course if they enroll with a parent or guardian. Parent/guardian must notify the registration office via email at wccregistration@worcester.edu

We may occasionally use photos of students in promotional materials. Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising. If you would prefer WCC to not use photos of yourself or your enrolled family member, please let us know by filling out the media release form located on our website, and submitting it to wccregistration@worcester.edu

If there is a photographer in your course/workshop, kindly remind them that you have withheld consent to be photographed. If WCC is using your photo in current marketing and you would prefer it not to be used, please let us know by emailing wccregistration@worcester.edu
