In this unique class the student will enter the realm of forging non-ferrous Metals such as copper, bronze, and silver. Starting by hammer shaping and drawing plasticine (yes, you read that right!), the student will learn hammer usage and control, becoming used to seeing and feeling the hammer strokes on a soft and delicate surface before moving on to forging annealed copper.
This class opens up the beginner to more advanced classes in the "Ring Cycle" historic silver forging series such as Money Rings and the Gotland Ring.
