Do's and Don'ts of Cloisonne Enameling

Cloisonne enameling is a method known to produce very elegant pieces. Doing cloisonne, However, i.e., bending a bunch of wires and getting them exactly where you want them on a piece of metal can be extremely tedious. In this workshop, Pete will show you a novel way of doing cloisonne that hugely reduces the tedious factor: applying your wires not directly onto your metal substrate, but rather onto a piece of decal paper!

The workshop will cover the general strategy of, and the do’s and don'ts of cloisonne.

Please wear natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool, etc.) and closed-toe shoes.
