In many ways our hands can speak for us, can help us
emphasize something or create meaning where spoken
words may fail. From children’s games to sign language
to religious practices, bending, extending, crossing or
simply touching fingers together is a human trait. This
workshop explores the energetic principles of two of
the dozens of mudras traditionally practiced for their
health benefits.

With a variety of props, students will move through a
moderate level of activity to experience their yoga
practice in a profound way by incorporating mudras and
their positive affirmations. This 90 min workshop
will provide a break and an opportunity to journal about
what personal messages might be hidden in the mudras.

Students need to bring: Mat, 2 Yoga Blocks, Yoga Blanket, Yoga Strap, Journal

We may occasionally use photos of students in promotional materials. Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising. If you would prefer WCC to not use photos of yourself or your enrolled family member, please let us know by filling out the media release form located on our website, and submitting it to wccregistration@worcester.edu

If there is a photographer in your course/workshop, kindly remind them that you have withheld consent to be photographed. If WCC is using your photo in current marketing and you would prefer it not to be used, please let us know by emailing wccregistration@worcester.edu
