Take the next steps with your understanding of digital photography while learning how to "see" when looking through the viewfinder of your camera. Explore some of the many different types of photography such as portrait, landscape, still life, sports and abstraction, as you become more confident with your choices of composition and visual content. You will take the steps to further your understanding of digital workflow moving from the camera to computer while learning basic photo editing skills using computer based software. Print quality images will be created as student learn the basic steps of preparing an image for online based print ordering, with the class producing one batch order of three prints each student for review during the final class. Students should already be familiar with the basics of photography as well as the controls and functions of their own digital camera and will be assigned a computer workstation accessible during class time.
