Looking for an uplifting social experience, or an opportunity to build strength and resiliency, or time to decompress and enhance your ability to adapt to the challenges life brings? Rooted in anatomy, this yoga class spans from the traditional to the contemporary as students are led to re-connect body and mind through awareness and posture practices. In our modern world full of demands for our attention, our minds and our bodies are understandably often in two different places! But, once we begin to notice we can begin to improve our own sense of well-being. Students of all levels are encouraged, with the ability to get up and down off the mat without assistance. We will be using chairs in this class.

Students should bring: Yoga mat, 2 Yoga blocks, Blanket

WCC Media Release Policy

We may occasionally use photos of students in promotional materials. Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising. If you would prefer WCC to not use photos of yourself or your enrolled family member, please let us know by filling out the media release form located on our website, and submitting it to wccregistration@worcester.edu
