Come explore the art of glass fusing and slumping! In this course, you’ll learn how to create both jewelry and slumped glass pieces. Students can design pendants, earrings, coasters, plates, and more. Your instructor will demonstrate essential techniques, including cutting and grinding glass, adding findings, slumping glass into molds to create functional ware, and other creative methods. You’ll learn a lot while having fun, bringing your glass designs to life.

No prior experience is required and beginners of welcome!

The materials fee includes basic glass supplies. Students can buy more glass from the studio as needed (cash or check) or bring their own glass to work.
Please wear natural fiber fabrics and closed-toe shoes.

WCC Media Release Policy

We may occasionally use photos of students in promotional materials. Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising. If you would prefer WCC to not use photos of yourself or your enrolled family member, please let us know by filling out the media release form located on our website, and submitting it to wccregistration@worcester.edu
