In this mold-making class, students will learn how to create plaster press molds of found objects and
sculpted forms. Press molds are an invaluable tool to the ceramic artist looking to create multiples of
their work or copy pre-existing forms/textures. When the original piece is no longer precious, the
ceramic artist is free to experiment with different clay or glaze combinations, firings, etc. Learn how to make these molds and use them to create repetative elements in your work.

Time between meetings will allow for molds to dry and be available for use during the second meeting.
