The Mastering Sawing class is a beginner/all levels workshop, but previous jewelry-making experience is recommended (or understanding of what a jeweler's saw is). Even if you took a jewelry class 10 plus years ago, you're welcome to sign up! It's a ""bootcamp"" type workshop for jewelers/metalsmiths who want to perfect the practice. We have some fun Halloween/Fall-themed designs you will be practicing cutting out!
During this workshop, you’ll refine your sawing skills and gain confidence through guided exercises and patterns. Discover how to maximize your saw frame’s potential as you master straight lines, curves, spirals, sharp angles, and more. The instructor will cover proper posture and hand positioning, along with tips on selecting and using different types of saw frames for approaching detailed designs.
