- Location: This workshop has been relocated to the Multimedia Studio of the Craft Center, located at 25 Sagamore Road, Worcester, MA 01605.
Additional Notes for Students:
-You will be working on 5" x 7" paper.
-Please bring any interestingly-shaped objects, shapes or forms you would like to see printed, and film negatives if you have those, as well.
-Your instructor will demonstrate how to transfer such forms to print, along with toning techniques using natural materials such as tea and coffee to render one-of-a-kind tonalities to your work.

Cyanotypes are known for their rich blue color and as an alternative printing technique first invented in 1842 by Sir John Herschel. In this all levels workshop, no experience is necessary as the instructor will guide you through the exploration of the cyanotype photo process, learning both camera and camera-less photography techniques. Students will learn to make photogram images from the shadows of objects placed directly on the cyanotypes surface as well as prints from negatives, in this fun and insightful 3-hour workshop.
The workshop will take place at the Craft Center's main location at 25 Sagamore Road, Worcester, MA in the multimedia studio.

Every registrant will be expected to complete an electronic form included in their registration receipt acknowledging that they understand and agree to comply with the policies outlined, and that they thereby release the Worcester Center for Crafts and Worcester State University of any liability. This form must be submitted no less than 48 hours prior to the start of the first class.
