Course Description

The Krikorian Gallery Presents:
CRAFTING A NEW HOME: REFUGEE ARTISANS OF WORCESTER

This will be an exhibition of weavings, baskets, bamboo crafts, sculptures, and embroideries of refugee artisans. This exhibition is in collaboration with RAW (Refugee Artisans of Worcester). RAW supports craft work as a vibrant means toward self-empowerment for refugees.

Join us for an OPENING RECEPTION on Saturday, January 18, 1-4pm.

The opening reception will include craft demos and a talk with guest curator, Emerita Anthropology professor, Susan Rodgers, College of the Holy Cross and RAW co-founders Ellen Ferrante and Joan Kariko (2-3pm).
