If your class is scheduled to occur in the evenings after 5PM or if you arrive on a weekend before 10AM, please enter the facilities through our rear, handicap-accessible Studio Entrance across from the Parking Lot. The front entrance and offices lock at 5PM. As you enter through the Studio Entrance, please take a right if you are looking for the Ceramics Studio. Please take a left if you are looking for the Metals Studio or the Multimedia Studio.

Course Description

This is a dynamic and intensive course designed to introduce and inspire any ceramist seeking a hard working skill building experience. We will be hand building and wheel throwing work from stoneware and porcelain, using slips and glazes formulated to respond to a wood fire atmosphere. You must be prepared to participate in the wood preparation as well as contribute to the hands on work of a weekend 16 to 18 hour firing. We will also be responsible for cleaning up the kiln and shelving for the next adventurous potters! Limited to 10.

Please Note: Firing Will Take Place On : Saturday, June 22nd.

Refund Policy

A refund is given upon request in writing at least two business days prior to first class meeting. No refunds or credits are given for student absences.
