Course Description
Portraits are a mix of technical and creative concepts which help the photographer to create a meaningful and evocative image. In this workshop photographer Eric Nichols will guide you through the fundamentals of studio lighting.
Learn how to design your own lighting scenarios to create more interesting photos. In this workshop we will cover how to shape the tonality, contrast and the overall feel of an image using three main lighting concepts, direction, quality and depth. Learn how and when to use modifiers, fills and reflectors in this informative and hands on workshop. Students are encouraged to bring a camera.
