Course Description

Cyanotypes are known for their rich blue color and as an alternative printing technique first invented in 1842 by Sir John Herschel. In this all levels workshop, no experience is necessary as the instructor will guide you through the exploration of the cyanotype photo process, learning both camera and camera-less photography techniques. Students will learn to make photogram images from the shadows of objects placed directly on the cyanotypes surface as well as prints from negatives, in this fun and insightful 3-hour workshop.

The workshop will take place at the Craft Center's main location at 25 Sagamore Road, Worcester, MA in the multimedia studio.
