The Holidays are coming! It's time to start making gifts! Join visiting goldsmith Joy Raskin and learn to make a beautiful set of measuring spoons. With expert instruction, it's a lot easier than you might think! You'll make a set of 4 or 6 measuring spoons ranging from 1 tablespoon to 1/8 of a teaspoon and a wall rack too. Using 8g to 12g wire for handles and pre-cut metal discs in assorted sizes for the bowls you'll craft an heirloom piece.
Metal choices include brass, bronze, and nickel. Estimated cost of materials is $25-50 per student and is payable to the instructor during class. Registered students that wish to work in sterling should contact email@example.com for sizing reference to order sterling disks.
Pre-requisite: Jewelry 1 or Department Permission required. (Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for permission.)
