Note: This class was formally named Rings & Things (10-13 years). However, we have expanded the offering to accomodate a larger age range. The topic of the class will remain the same. Please dress for mess and be ready to have fun! Parents, please complete the attached photo release form, and have your young crafter submit it to their instructor or the Youth Coordinator on their first day. Students will be met by their instructor or the Youth Coordinator in the lobby at the start of class before walking down to the studio.

Course Description

Whether you’ve taken Metals classes at WCC or not you won’t want to miss this action packed week! Work with a professional metalsmith and learn how to etch patterns and designs into copper and brass sheet using salt water and electricity. Learn how to use the jeweler's saw, hammers, and files to cut, and form metal, before soldering it together at the torch to make one-of-a-kind rings and other things that you design! No experience required.

Refund Policy

A refund is given upon request in writing at least two business days prior to first class meeting. No refunds or credits are given for student absences.
