In this dynamic third class in the Ring Cycle Series, the student will learn the history and the firging of a ring unique to a place and time...a silver ring known simply as the Gotland Ring, a flat-faced ring used by Norse culture from the late 9th through to the 11th century. This class will expand upon skills learned in the previous class in this series. Proper Annealing, advanced tapering, and hammer drawing will be featured heavily. At the end of the class, the student will have a good base for forging any non-ferrous metals and will leave with a Gotland Ring of their own making.

Hammering fundamentals, forging, or attendance in the previous class is a must.

Enrollment in one of our courses is consent to WCC using photos/videos of your class participation and/or art work in future advertising.
