This class is the first in a Four-Part series that will ultimately lead up to learning how to forge non-ferrous metals. In this class the student will learn how to shape four simple rings from antiquity out of copper wire. These four rings cover a timespan from the Bronze Age to the late Middle Ages and beyond. Each student will create a hoard of rings that can be replicated with very simple tools.
