How do I create a new user account?

In order to register for courses online, you must have an account with Worcester Center for Crafts. Creating an account gives you online access to enroll in courses, view your registration history, change your address and more.

You can go to our Sign Up page to create a new account. Note: you must have an email address to set up an account with us.

What courses do you currently offer?

Select one of the Lookup Courses links (in the left navigation bar) to see the list of courses we currently offer.

How do I register for a course?

To register for a course:
  1. Look Up Course - look up the course you want to enroll in on our Course Listing page.

  2. Add to Enrollment Card - click the Add to Enrollment Card button on the Course Information page to start the registration process.

  3. Logon - log on to the system. Note: if you're already logged on, this step will be skipped.

  4. Select Course Fees - select the course fee options (i.e. select registration fee, add optional fees).

  5. Add More Courses - if you are enrolling in other courses, click the Add More Courses button and repeat steps 1, 2, and 4. Otherwise, continue to step 6.

  6. Register for Selected Courses - once you have added all the desired courses to your Enrollment Card, click the Finish Registration button to continue the registration process.

  7. Supplemental Data - some courses require additional registration information (i.e. T-Shirt size, meal preference, etc.). If the course you enrolled in has additional registration information requirements, the Supplemental Data page now opens for you to enter your information. Click the Submit button after entering the information to continue.

  8. Make Payment - enter your payment information then click the Submit Payment button*** (or the Bill Me button if selecting the Invoicing option).

  9. Registration Confirmed - the Registration Confirmation page now opens notifying you that you are enrolled in the course(s). A confirmation email with the registration specifics is also sent to your email address. At this time, you can safely log off the system.
***Important Note for those paying by Credit Card
The Wait page will be displayed to you while the system is waiting for credit card approval. DO NOT move away from this page (click your Back button, select another URL, etc.) until the process is completed. If you do, the approval process is aborted and you WILL NOT be enrolled in the course.

Which methods of payment do you accept online?

Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

How do I register with a gift card?

To register with a gift card, you must do so with the Registration Office either in person or over the phone (508) 753-8183 ext. 301. Please have gift card(s) on hand at time of registration and be prepared to present gift card number(s) on the back of the card(s).

REFUNDS and CANCELLATIONS for Adult and Youth Online Learning Courses

Effective August 1, 2020 for all programming scheduled for Fall 2020 onwards.

Student cancellations for any and all online courses in Metals, Ceramics, Photography, and Glass must made at least 5 business days prior to the first class meeting are eligible for a full refund. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the Registration Office at wccregistration@worcester.edu.

?No refunds or credits will be given for student absences nor for student cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start date.

Any and all related materials and kits are non-returnable and are non-refundable once shipped.

The Worcester Center for Crafts reserves the right to cancel any online class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the scheduled start date of an offering. When course or workshop is cancelled by the Worcester Center for Crafts, a full refund will be issued.

Metals courses:

?Due to the metals market volatility and kit assembly times, student cancellations for any and all in-studio courses in Metals must made at least 5 business days prior to the first class meeting are eligible for a full refund. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the Registration Office at wccregistration@worcester.edu. No refunds or credits will be given for student absences.

The Worcester Center for Crafts reserves the right to cancel any in-studio Metals class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment up to 5 business days prior to the scheduled start date of an offering. When course or workshop is cancelled by the Worcester Center for Crafts, a full refund will be issued.

Cancellations Related to Illness:

?Please do not attend class or come into the Center if you are ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. In the event that you are ill and are no longer able to attend class, please notify the Registration Office immediately via email at wccregistration@worcester.edu.

Students may cancel their enrollment due to illness up until the first class for either a full refund or a transfer to an online class provided that they submit their cancellation notice in writing via email paired with an accompanying doctor’s note. Requests of this nature must be submitted to the Registration Office at wccregistration@worcester.edu.

?Exceptions may be considered for cancellation requests submitted past the first class on a case by case basis for illness. In the event that an exception is granted, partial refunds will only be issued for student tuition (no materials or studio fees) for the weeks of class not attended.

NO exceptions will be considered for requests made after the class has completed.

What happens if there is bad weather? Will classes be cancelled?

The Worcester Center for Crafts generally follows the Worcester State University(WSU) inclement weather policy relative to building closings and class cancellations. Cancellation announcements will be made on the Craft Center's Facebook Page (facebook.com/worcestercraftcenter) and on our blog (http://worcestercenterforcraftsenews.blogspot.com/search/label/Weather). The Worcester Center for Crafts schedules make-up classes when possible for sequential classes.

For evening Craft Center classes and weekend workshops, the offices will make an assessment of the weather conditions, and students will be notified by 2PM via email if a closure will continue through the evening or if the class will run as scheduled. Please be sure to check the Facebook page for must up-to-date information.

What are the Materials and Studio Fees for?

Studio fees cover the cost of consumables (gas, chemicals, blades, ect.) that are used by everyone in the studio. Materials fees cover the costs of materials used by individuals for their individual projects. Tuition prices cover the cost of instruction and administrative overhead.

How do I cancel a registration?
