Dive into the exciting world of glass beadmaking in this multi-level class. Using a torch and "soft" Moretti glass, beginner students will learn the fundamentals of making beautiful glass beads in a relaxing environment. More experienced students can expect to expand their understanding of advanced beadmaking techniques through studying form and surface design. Through group critiques and investigations into contemporary design principles, students will be encouraged to break away from the norm as they bring their beads to the next level. *Materials are not included but are available for purchase at the glass studio.
Avoid wearing man made fibers and bring a bottle of water with you to class. All glass classes take place at the Worcester Center for Crafts' New Street Glass Studio, 35B New Street, Worcester, MA 01605
