Think of how it will feel to serve dessert on a beautiful handmade plate of your own creation! In this fun, faced paced two-night workshop, you will form your own ceramic plates from earthenware clay during night one. Returning the following week you will work with brightly colored glazes to create decorative surfaces of your own design. Bring your friends and work side by side learning how to form and decorate your own plates, while also learning of the rich decorative history of ceramics. No prior experience needed… also FUN for people who say "I don't have a creative bone in my body". Who knows, you might find one!
Class takes place on two consecutive Friday Nights, 2/26 and 3/5, 2010.
