In this fun and expressive one-day workshop, you will be introduced to the techniques necessary to hand-build a set of functional ceramic mugs for the home. The afternoon of guided instruction will include working with slabs of moist clay while building cylindrical cups and attaching handles to the cups of your own design. Students will have the opportunity to add personal touches through simple carved or stamped embellishments, and introduce color through the use of underglaze. A great workshop to get to know clay, while have a fun afternoon. Mugs will be dried, fired, clear glazed and available for pick up approximately two weeks after the workshop.
A refund is given upon request in writing (Please email firstname.lastname@example.org) at least two business days prior to first class meeting. No refunds or credits are given for student absences.
When course or workshop is cancelled by the WCC, a full refund will be issued.
